City Commission to hold Town Hall Meeting August 29

Sales tax ballot information to be presented

Garden City – The City Commission has scheduled a Town Hall Meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, in the City Commission Chambers at 301 N. Eighth Street in Garden City.

The agenda for the meeting will be dedicated to public comment as the City Commission invites residents to bring forward issues that are impacting their lives. The Commission will also present information on the November 2017 countywide sales tax ballot issue. Information regarding the ballot issue is available on the City’s website at, and on the County’s website at Information is also available at the City Administrative Center. 

Those who cannot attend the meeting can interact with members of the City Commission using the City’s social media tools Facebook and Twitter. Cox Cable subscribers can watch the meeting live on Channel 8.  The meeting will also be streamed live from the City’s website.
