Airport Apron Replacement

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Airport Apron Replacement project will be received by OWNER, at the Garden City Clerk’s Office, 301 North 8th Street, Garden City, KS 67846, until 3:00 PM local time on Monday, February 26, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
The Project is generally described as the removal of asphalt pavement and replacement with 8” concrete pavement for an area adjacent to airport hangers and an existing concrete taxiway. Construction includes removal of existing asphalt pavement, excavation to subgrade requirements, scarification and compaction of subgrade, placement and compaction of AB-2 subgrade, and placement of concrete pavement. The project includes a Base Bid of 610 SY and Add Alternate No. 1 of 470 SY.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid as stated in the Project Manual. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
