First time users, please read the following information and FAQ’s.

Welcome to the City of Garden City’s online utility information.   By signing up, not only will you be able to pay your utility bill, you will also be able to see your account balance and payment information.  Additional features include, view statements, view meter read history and update account information. 

Update account information allows a user to update user info, update/add phone numbers and a mailing address and sign up for paperless billing.  When you sign up for paperless billing you will be notified via email when your statement is ready to view. 

Your Billing ID will be required to sign up for this service.  When prompted please enter your Billing ID exactly as it appears on your statement, including spaces.  The Billing ID can be found at the top of your statement under your name, or at the bottom on the return portion of your statement.

Please read the FAQ’s and answers below prior to signing up, as this information may be useful during the process.

Q:  Why is it prompting me to install software in order for me to sign up?

A:  Silverlight is required to make online payments.  If you are prompted to install Silverlight.exe, please do so.  You may need to close your browser and reopen after installation.

Q:  I have not received my email confirmation after creating my account.

A:  If you know you have entered your email correctly, please check your spam or junk email folders.


Q:  Can I pay my bill without creating a user name and password?


A:  Yes you may pay your bill by choosing Guest Payment.  However, none of the additional options will be accessible.

Q:  I have locked myself out, who do I contact.

A:  Please contact the Service and Finance office at 620-276-1100 to have your account unlocked.  You will have five chances to enter your information before you are locked out.  Please keep in mind staff will only be available to unlock your account during regular business hours.  Select forgot password or forgot user name before this happens, to avoid being locked out.

Q:  I have forgotten my password or user name, how can I retrieve it?

A:  Click on forgot password or forgot user name.  An email will be sent to the email address on file containing your information.
