Chief James R. Hawkins believes that it is important to hear from the public on how the officers and employees of the Garden City Police Department are performing their duties. If you have experienced or observed an employee of the Garden City Police Department performing their job in an outstanding manner or were satisfied with the outcome of your contact, we would like to hear from you.

The alternative is also true. If you have a negative experience with any employee of the Garden City Police Department or are concerned about the actions of any department employee we would also like to know.

Complaints or Commendations can be expressed to any department employee. Usually, if you have a complaint a supervisor or someone from the Office of Professional Standards will meet with you or answer your questions.
