The Finnup Center Lecture Hall and teleconferencing facilities are available to other organizations for meetings on a limited basis. It is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00pm. For more information on usage, availability or fees, please contact the

Picnic Shelter Reservation Policy
The "West Green Shelter"
is available for public use at no charge on a first come, first served
basis, unless reserved in advance following the procedures outlined
below. Annual public events that have an established history of use are
given first preference.
All requests for reservations shall be made in writing at least ten (10)
working days (or two weeks) prior to the scheduled event to the Zoo
Department, PO Box 499, Garden City, KS 67846.
All requests shall state:
Description/location of facility desired
The purpose of the event
The date, time and duration of the event
The approximate number of attendees
A contact person including address and daytime phone number
Questionable or large events that will involve multiple city departments
may be forwarded to the City Manager's office for his and/or City
Commission's approval.
Approved events will be confirmed in writing and will be posted on the
shelter's reservation board.
It will be the responsibility of the reservee to dispose of trash
generated by the event and to follow any and all rules and ordinances
established by the City of Garden City and the Zoo Department. Failure
to follow rules and regulations may result in denial of reservation
privileges in the future.
