Update regarding City Administrative Center closure to the public:
Bids delivered by hand may still be delivered by hand if arrangements to do so are made by calling in advance and making arrangements.
Public bid openings scheduled for days between March 19, 2020, and April 6, 2020, will still take place at 301 N. 8th, and the location will be communicated to the bidders. The specific location will be made known outside the front entrance of the City Administrative Center with a sign or a staff person present to give further direction.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Bids for the 2019 Self-Supporting Communications Tower Site Construction and Tower Erection (UE2018-19), for the City of Garden City, Kansas will be received at the Utilities Service Center, 140 Harvest Street, Garden City, Kansas, until 2:00 p.m. CT, May 14th, 2019 at which time the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.
All bids shall be made on printed forms, which may be obtained through the online Plan Room at http://www.wilsonco.com/plan-room at no charge. Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. must register or log-in to view and/or download bid documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least one-hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the public.
