It is the property owner's responsibility to keep overhead service across their property clear of trees that may interfere with the service line. The Electric Department will remove an electric line for a customer who needs to trim trees on their property at no charge. Customers can schedule this by calling the Utility Service Center at 620-276-1290. If a customer needs service removed on a weekend, please notify the Utility Service Center in advance during regular business hours.
