Garden City Parks and Recreation Walking group is an excellent way to stay physically active. Walking promotes circulation, improves metabolism, and strengthens joints. This 7 week program provides a great way to get the social support needed to stay active and keep up with personal fitness goals. The first 6 weeks will be dedicated to walking 3x a week and learning about the benefits of walking, stretching, and improving health.
